RETURN PROCEDURES
Humidifiers Direct will not accept any
product returns without first receiving a completed online
RMA Request Form.
A return merchandise authorization (RMA)
number must be obtained before returning any item irregardless of the reason
for return.
Defective Returns
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number for defective returns can only be issued for exchange or repair, at
our discretion, within 30 days from the original shipment.
If no exchange or repair options are available
for the defective item, Humidifiers Direct reserves the right to impose a 20%
restocking fee.
No returns can be accepted after 30 days.
Returns Process

The first step to initiate any product return
begins with a submission of a completed on-line
RMA Request Form and the
issuance of a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. No
Returns of any type can be accepted without a valid RMA number. RMA numbers
are valid for 15 days after issue and must be received in our warehouse
within 30 days from the date of invoice.

To complete the on-line
RMA Request Form, the
following information is required: customer name, invoice/order number,
Product name, and reason for the return request.

RMA number must appear clearly on the shipping
label affixed on the outside of all return shipments. Please do not mark the
box itself in any other way. Excessive box markings may result in additional
fee assessments.

Humidifiers Direct accepts no responsibility
for lost, stolen or damaged packages. Freight insurance and a proof of
delivery tracking number is strongly recommended to protect customer's
interest in the shipment.

Returns must be complete in resalable and
original condition with all boxes, packing materials, manuals, attachments
and accessories intact. Humidifiers Direct reserves the right to refuse
returns on any product that fails to conform to these requirements.

Unopened Packages - Please make certain to
indicate on the RMA Request Form if any package remains unopened. Any RMA
issued for returns on unopened items which arrive in the Humidifiers Direct
warehouse with evidence that the item has been opened or tampered with will
be assessed a minimum restocking fee of 50% of the original purchase price.

Customers are responsible for all shipping and
handling charges on all returned items.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
If for any reason you decide to cancel an
order please contact a Humidifiers Direct Customer Service team member
immediately at 801.593.0559 or by email at
custserv@humidifiersdirect.com. If your order has not yet shipped, we
can usually cancel the order upon notification. To confirm your order
cancellation, please leave a valid email address with the team member or
within your email message.
If your order has already been shipped it may
not be eligible for cancellation. If the cancellation request is received
after the item has shipped Humidifiers Direct will gladly accept a return
consistent with our non-defective return policy as stated above. However, no
refunds are available for shipping and handling fees and customer bears sole
responsibility for all return shipping costs.
Credits
Credits can only be issued after a product is
received, inspected and processed by Humidifiers Direct. Credits will be in
the same manner in which the item was originally purchased. Please note that
after a credit has been issued by Humidifiers Direct, your financial
institution controls when the credit will be reflected on your statement.
