"The
MiniAire has been a life saver!...I started using the MiniAire and can't believe the difference! I used it all the
time in my car and tell everyone I know about it! Thanks for a
great product!" - D. Walters, NJ

The
MiniAire is extremely easy to put together and use.
First,
install the filter core inside the water purifier. Screw the water
purifier into the bottom of the misting device. Fill the water
container with distilled or purified water to the full line. Twist the
misting device onto the water container until tightly attached. Press
the 'ON' button on the top of the misting device and within 30
seconds, you'll be enjoying the effects of cool mist humidity. It's
that easy.

The MiniAire humidifier comes complete
with a vehicle vent attachment for use while you travel.
"...the
MiniAire...helped me to breath
much easier. I highly recommend this humidifier
for people on the go!" - B.Hoellein,
UT
To use the attachment, insert the
locking clips into the back of the base. Once secure, insert the clips
into the vents of your vehicle. The bottom adjustment stick allows you
to level the attachment before placing the MiniAire humidifier into
the base. Plug the 12V DC adapter into the MiniAire and then into the
cigarette lighter. You'll enjoy hours of cool mist while traveling on
the road!
Cleaning
the MiniAire humidifier
Before
attempting to clean the unit, make sure the humidifier is turned off
and unplugged from the power supply.
To
clean the MiniAire humidifier, use a dry or slightly damp cloth
to wipe the exterior of the misting device. DO NOT
submerge or flush the misting device with water. DO NOT use
alcohol, benzene, or other solvents to wipe the machine.
The
water container of the MiniAire is top shelf dishwasher safe,
and should be cleaned every third day of use.
Storing the
MiniAire humidifier
When
storing the MiniAire humidifier for a short period of time
(less than a week), pour the water out of the bottom water container
and dry it with a cloth.
When
storing the MiniAire humidifier for a long period of time
(over 1 week), empty the water container and dry it off, remove the
water purifier, and remove the filter core. Store in a clean, dry
place.
Can I use tap
water in the MiniAire humidifier?
We
recommend using only distilled or purified water in the MiniAire
humidifier. Although tap water can be used, it is strongly
NOT RECOMMENDED.
The
EPA recommends using bottled water labeled 'distilled' in
all ultrasonic humidifiers to reduce the dispersal of minerals found
in tap water into the air.
The
MiniAire humidifier contains a ionic antibacterial water
filter which eliminates the dispersal of minerals known as 'white
dust' common to ordinary humidifiers.
Tap water contains minerals such
as calcium, and magnesium, which will accumulate inside and shorten
the life time of the MiniAire's water purifier.
For
example, if you use the MiniAire for an average of 4 hours of day
using tap water, you will need to change the water purifier
every month to maintain its effectiveness.
The
water purifier will last for a full year if distilled or purified
water is used. The water purifier should be changed once every
year as a measure of effective maintenance. Replacement filter packs
include one purifying water filters and 8 wicks.
Using
distilled or purified water is the best way to maintain the life of
the water purifier. Distillation will kill and remove bacteria,
viruses, cysts, as well as heavy metals, and minerals. It is the
most effective method for removing minerals from water.
Be
aware that not all bottled water is produced using demineralization
processes. Bottled water labeled: 'spring', 'artesian', or
'mineral', have not been treated to remove mineral content, and
should not be used in the MiniAire humidifier.
